Frequently Asked Questions
The whole circuit of the inverter power supply is composed of AC continuous current, AC and filtering, so the voltage and current waveform it outputs are pure sine waves, which is very close to the ideal AC power supply. It can output the voltage and frequency of the power grid in any country in the world. The Variable frequency drive (VFD) is composed of AC continuous flow and AC (modulated wave) and other circuits, and the standard name of Variable frequency drive (VFD) should be frequency conversion speed controller. The waveform of its output voltage is a pulse square wave, and there are many harmonic components, and the voltage and frequency change proportionally at the same time, which cannot be adjusted separately, which does not meet the requirements of AC power supply. In principle, it cannot be used as a power supply supply, and is generally only used for speed regulation of three-phase asynchronous motors.
If the given acceleration time is too short, the output frequency of the inverter changes far more than the change of rotational speed (angular frequency), and the inverter will trip and stop due to the flow of overcurrent, which is called stalling. In order to prevent the motor from continuing to run due to stalling, it is necessary to detect the size of the current for frequency control. When the acceleration current is too large, slow down the acceleration rate appropriately. The same is true when slowing down. The combination of the two is the stall function.
The protection function can be divided into the following two categories:u003cbru003e(1) Automatic correction actions after detecting abnormal conditions, such as overcurrent stall prevention and regenerative overvoltage stall prevention.u003cbru003e(2) After detecting the abnormality, block the PWM control signal of the power semiconductor device to make the motor stop automatically. Such as overcurrent cut-off, regenerative overvoltage cut-off, semiconductor cooling fan overheating and instantaneous power outage protection, etc.
